Vacuum Feeder Applications
SaintyCo produces vacuum feeders for applications across the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, chemical, and neutraceutical industries. Our equipment is used to convey everything from medicinal powders to coffee beans, pigments, and more.

What is a Vacuum Feeder?
A vacuum feeder uses vacuum suction to transport powders, granules, liquids, or other loose materials (like pellets, tablets, or capsules). It’s an efficient way to move ingredients or products from one area of your production, processing, or packing line to the next. You may also hear vacuum feeders referred to as vacuum conveyors.
At SaintyCo, our vacuum feeders come in all shapes, sizes, and specs. But in essence, they’re all pneumatic devices that transfer materials using negative pressure via a closed pipeline. This process can be controlled via a fully automated system or with some degree of manual input, for example, like a worker guiding the suction wand.

Stand-Out Features
Unbeatable engineering, decades-long durability, and advanced technology are just a few key aspects of SaintyCo vacuum feeders. Here are a few more.

We use pharmaceutical-grade steel for all contact parts, with electropolished surfaces to ensure full compliance with hygiene standards and regulations.

SaintyCo vacuum feeders can be mounted on casters, attached to the floor, secured to a tabletop, or mounted onto other standard equipment or machinery.

The components of SaintyCo vacuum feeders are machined to incredibly tight tolerances in our advanced factory facilities. This ensures reliable performance for decades to come.

Our dry-running vacuum feeders are free of oil, water, or other lubricants. This makes them perfect for zero-tolerance contamination industries like pharma and food.

The smart sensors in our feeders can detect material levels in the receiving hopper. This triggers a feeding cycle that maintains flow and optimizes production speed.

Our compact designs are created to save space, so you can achieve your production goals even in tight environments without making any sacrifices.
Vacuum Feeder Filters
SaintyCo vacuum feeders are available with different types of filters, including standard HEPA, cartridge, antistatic, Nolmex, and PTFE-coated filters. Material dust profile, application, and hygiene requirements will influence which is right for you.

Suitable For High-Containment Environments
Our systems are designed for the safe handling of cytotoxics and HPAPIs. Negative pressure zones and completely sealed chambers prevent dust from escaping. Some models feature glove ports to ensure a 100% clean and controlled environment.

Why Choose SaintyCo?

When you’re looking for a pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing partner, you won’t find anyone more trustworthy, experienced, and passionate than SaintyCo.
Not only do we have one of the most extensive ranges of vacuum feeders on the market, but we offer the best in terms of quality, too. We combine high European standards with low Chinese prices to deliver you excellence for less.
Automation and Mobility Levels
At SaintyCo, we understand that your needs are diverse and change according to facility, product, process, budget, and other parameters. So, we offer a wide selection of automation and mobility levels to cover every project.

The suction nozzle is attached to a flexible hose. A worker can guide the nozzle into a container to collect the raw material or product units. This offers superb flexibility and accuracy, without requiring direct manual handling.

If you prefer a fully enclosed system, our automated vacuum feeders are a great choice. They’re built to take care of material transfer using smart systems like level sensors and PLC timers for maximum efficiency.

Our portable mobile vacuum feeder models are extremely popular thanks to their convenient, cost-effective, and versatile nature. Mounted on wheels, they can easily be moved between rooms or lines.

Install our vacuum feeders inline and directly integrate them with other SaintyCo or standardized machinery. For instance, you can permanently fix our feeders above receiving equipment like blenders or tablet pressers.

Vacuum Feeder Control Systems
At SaintyCo, we give you more options when it comes to how you want to control your vacuum feeder. This means our machinery is suitable for any production scale, no matter how simple or complex your setup is.
Our basic feeder models use manual switches or relay-based logic. This simple on/off format makes for straightforward operation and is a low-cost entry-level option for small-batch facilities.
At the next level, we offer PLC-controlled feeders which feature a human-machine interface for intuitive operation. The HMI panel displays real-time data, stores programmable recipes, tracks batches, and can be integrated into SCADA and IIOT systems.
Our high-end models use sensors to manage action. The sensors measure levels in the hopper or receiving bin. Then, the vacuum feeder can start and stop conveying based on how much material is in the container. This ensures your line keeps flowing smoothly, minimizing the need for manual checks and reducing the risk of operator error.
Volumetric Vs. Gramitric Vacuum Feeders
Whether you’re looking for a volumetric or gravimetric vacuum feeder. We have many quality models for you to choose from.
Our gravimetric vacuum feeders are also called oss-in-weight feeders. They use load cells to precisely monitor the materials’ weight that’s in the hopper. Using this information, the system adjusts the feeding rate. This ensures that the flow stays consistent and also that the doses remain precise. This is essential in the pharmaceutical industry, because product quality and patient safety are linked.
If dosing happens further downstream the processing line, then precision at this stage may not be totally necessary. In that case, then our volumetric feeders are ideal. They deliver a fixed volume of powder, granules, or other raw material per cycle. For example, if powder is being fed into a dry granulation machine, the exact dose doesn’t need to be calculated at this stage of processing.
Both systems can be integrated with PLCs. This has the advantage of safety features like automatic cut-off. Not sure which option is best for your application? Our experts can give you free advice. They have years of industry experience. Get in touch with us for more information.
