Flow wrapping is a high-speed packaging process. The products are normally put on a horizontal conveyor belt, and the machine wraps them with continuous film. Through sealing and cutting, the product will end up in a pillow-shaped bag.
A flow wrapper normally consists of film rolls, an electric eye, registration for printed film, web control, longitudinal sealing, feeding and forming, end sealing and cutting, product delivery, and electrical eyes.
Firstly, the operator sets package parameters on the panel. Package materials and goods must be located correctly. Then turn on the machine, and the bag will wrap around the product through the roller. If your machine features a labeler, the product information will be imprinted on the film. The sealing jaw seals the packages on a one-by-one basis, and the rotating blade cuts the packages into individual units. The packed product is then conveyed to the integration area by a conveyor belt.
Heat sealing： Heat sealing is suitable for materials like PET, CPP, etc. Heat sealing needs to set the temperature depending on the package materials， ranging from 140 to 200 °C.
Cold sealing: Cold sealing normally uses glue to seal the two sides, and is suitable for heat-sensitive products, such as chocolate, medical pills.
Ultrasonic sealing: Ultrasonic sealing can achieve a higher sealing precision than both cases above. It is suitable for aseptic food.
